TakeFive / The Dave Brubeck Quartet [作品]
地獄のトレーニングもせずに最近なにやってたかっつーと・・・
いつの間にやらこのブログ、開設一周年を迎えてたんですね～。
既に初の「作品」のCasiopeaから一年・・・。早いもんです。。。あれ？何やってたんだろ？この一年・・・。と、落ち込んじゃいました・・・。
ちょっと作品とは言い難いですが、こんな本 ↓が手に入ったので、その中から一曲ピックアップして練習してみました。

この本の中から一番好きな曲ってことで" TakeFive "。
ピアノ抜きのドラムとベースだけのカラオケバージョンが収録されていたので、素直にそれをバックに録音させていただきました。

まあまぁかの。
とにかく練習にかなり時間かかった。
まず、5拍子（感覚的には3拍子＋2拍子）になかなか慣れない。
あと、途中のソロ部分がなかなか覚えられない・・・。
Jazzの曲って初コピーですが、使うスケールが違うんですね。
この教本を読むと「Dドリアンスケール中心」だそうです。
ロック小僧の私はメジャーかマイナー、ハーモニックマイナー、たまにディミニッシュ。。。ってな感じはまぁ得意。
しかし、他のスケールってなんか使うポイントがわからんから全然覚えたことなし！
Jazzとかやるならこういうの必須ですかねぇ。というか多分Casiopeaとかもコレ系のスケール多用してるんすねぇきっと。だから覚えられないわけだぁ。（←練習してないだけです）
つーかさ、そもそもこの楽譜、ピアノの練習用じゃん！！
だからか。あーそうか。なんか弾きにくいと思ったよ。 ムリすんなよって感じですね。
そんなわけで、ホントはピアノの左手の部分にあたるバッキングのコードも録る予定でしたが、覚えんのがめんどくさーい感じなので、断念。（ほとんど繰り返しなんですが、微妙にリズムが変わるという・・・）
ちなみに楽譜読むのに苦労するのでピアノの譜面を少しだけアレンジしてPowerTabでTAB譜作りました。

シンプルでイイですね。複雑な展開のJazzの曲は聴いててツラくなりますが、コレくらいなら飽きずに聴けます。
作曲はサックス吹いてるポールデスモンド、とのこと。
